Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) is an undercover agent working for IMF (Impossible Missions Force) headed by Jim Phelps (Jon Voight). His team works on a mission in Prague to stop a mole from transfering information on all undercover agents in the region to an enemy. Something goes wrong and suddenly everyone except Ethan is dead. Ethan escapes the city and comes across Kittridge (Henry Czerny) who explains that the mission was fake and was targeted to discover the mole. Since Ethan is the only survivor, he is the prime suspect. The only chance Ethan has to prove himself innocent is to discover the identity of the real mole. He begins discussions with the enemy Max (Vanessa Redgrave) and discovers shocking truths as he moves along this new mission.

Mission Impossible 2 involves agent (Ethan Hunt) tracking down the deadly Chimera virus which liquefies peoples organs and is highly contagious. (Sean Ambrose) a former agent now turned renegade plans to release the virus into the open and reap the benefits from selling its cure. Ethan recruits a professional burglar (Nyah Nordoff-Hall) to help scupper Ambrose plans. At a research facility which Nyah breaks into, most of the vials of Chimera are destroyed however she injects herself with the last vile so that she is still valuable enough not to be killed by Ambrose when captured. Ethan then has to track down Nyah before the virus kills her.
Mission Impossible 3 126 min. PG13 2006
This is the third movie in the Mission Impossible series. Tom Cruise has retired from the Impossible Mission Forces and is about to marry this girlfriend Michelle Monagan. In the mean time, a weapons dealer has kidnapped a former subordinate of Tom: Keri Russell. He is asked by the agency to intervene and rescue her as well as track the secret weapon being dealt, known as "Rabbit Foot". He chases the dealer all the way to Shanghai with the help of his team amid some "impossible" tasks using high tech gadgets. However, after that he is entangled into a web of treacheries and double crosses and he starts doubting his superiors. In the end, he has to untangle the net and also save his fiancee from life threat.

Tom Cruise returns to his Ethan Hunt character popularized by the previous three installments with this fourth entry produced by J.J. Abrams. Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec provide the script for the Paramount production.

CIA chief Hunley (Baldwin) convinces a Senate committee to disband the IMF (Impossible Mission Force), of which Ethan Hunt (Cruise) is a key member. Hunley argues that the IMF is too reckless. Now on his own, Hunt goes after a shadowy and deadly rogue organization called the Syndicate.
