Ever since Eddie Serrano's (George Lopez) wife passed away, he has been having trouble connecting with his young daughter Naomi. Being a lawyer, he mostly worked all the time and avoided and deep conversations with his daughter. However, when Naomi's team for camp is short one mom for the Spring Action Classic, Eddie steps in and takes matters into his own hands and tries to get closer with his daughter. Little did he know that he was in a bit over his head. He has a hard time adjusting with the outdoors and physical requirements needed from him, but nothing will stop Eddie from making her daughter proud.
