Commitment phobic, Charlie MacKenzie (Mike Myers) has met the girl of his dreams in Harriet Michaels (Nancy Travis). Life seems to perfect until Charlie starts to believe that Harriet is a serial killer on the loose. Charlie’s best friend, Tony Giardino (Anthony LaPaglia), is a cop who insists that Charlie is just getting cold feet and tells him to settle down with Harriet. Deciding that his friend is right, Charlie asks Harriet to marry him and she accepts. On their wedding day, Tony and Charlie find information that might mean Harriet is actually the suspected serial killer. More importantly, a serial killer who kills her husbands on their wedding night! Now Charlie has to solve the mystery of Harriet in order to stay alive.
