To Kill A King (Blu-Ray)

After the First Civil War in England, the relationship between General Fairfax (Dougray Scott) and Oliver Cromwell (Tim Roth) is explored in the movie, “To Kill A King”. The time in the 17th century and Fairfax had just successfully defeated the King. The two men, Fairfax and Cromwell had been friends throughout the term of the war but now their different beliefs in what should become of England threatened that friendship. One of the areas of conflict between them is what they should do with King Charles I. After the king had been defeated, the old rules of England were no more and a new democracy was about to unfold.
