The X Files 1: Fight The Future 121 min. PG-13 1998
In the movie off shoot of the successful television show Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson) are back to investigation of extraterrestrial and paranormal activitiy as government agents. The X-Files have been closed and Mulder and Scully have been sent to different assignments, the first one assisting in a bomb scare at a federal building in Dallas. When they save the day it would seem like a good thing, but upon returning to Washington they are berated because four people supposedly died in the explosion of the bomb they discovered. As they examine the bodies of these victims, Scully declares alien involvement and they are once again off to find evidence of extraterrestrial activity. After a harrowing escape in their pursuit of evidence Scully is kidnapped by a mysterious ambulance driver. Mulder must utilize the aid of his friends The Lone Gunmen, and other mysterious aid, in order to seek out Scully and save her life before it is too late.
The X Files 2: I Want To Believe 104 min. PG-13 2008
Six years after the FBI closed the X-Files former agent Dr. Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) is working as a physician at Our Lady of Sorrows hospital where she is treating a boy with a rare terminal disease. In Virginia several women are abducted and the only clues the FBI has are provided by Father Joseph (Billy Connolly), a priest a convicted pedophile. He claims God is sending him visions of the crimes and he leads them to dismembered parts of victims buried in the snow. When a young agent becomes the next victim the FBI decides they need help from the former X-Files agents. They will drop all the charges against former agent Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) if he helps them with this case. Mulder and Scully with reluctance join the manhunt that pulls them in their dark past and the discovery a gory crime scene.
