Adsup is The Alliance of Deaf Service Users,Providers and Purchasers,formerly The National Council for Social Workers with Deaf People. Adsup's Mission, as negotiated and agrees by the Executive Committee on 3-5 November 1995 is to demonstrate a commitment to :

* developing positive working alliances between actual and potential users, providers and purchasers of personal social services to deaf people;

* identify and promoting good practice for inter-agency work between Health and Social Services ,Education , and the private and voluntary sectors in all areas of social policy and social care as they relate to deaf people.
