Plot

This workbook is designed to be self-instructional . However, it is recommended that the student be encouraged to ask the meaning of unknown vocabulary and to ask for help when making excessive mistakes or not understanding what is expected.

A diagnostic test is available for use with the workbooks for two purposes:
1) to determine which concepts in which workbooks are needed, and 2) to determine , upon completion of the workbooks, if students learning took place.

Before the student begins to work in the workbook , the teacher should demonstrate how to read the directions, complete the exercise, and check the work by looking in the Answer Book after each page. The student should correct all mistakes.

For maximum effectiveness , the teacher may design additional activities to introduce , review, or expand the concepts presented in the workbook .
