Plot

We can see that there are major differences between partially-hearing and profoundly deaf people in what they achieve and how they remember their school days. Profoundly deaf people are more likely to be in the deaf community and use sign language. However, in their jobs there is no difference but deaf people in general get poorer job than hearing people and are more likely to be unemployed.

In all our results , we can see that hearing people need to be more aware of the potential of deaf people. They often see only the handicap and either try to avoid it or are confused as to how they might make things easier at work or at college. We hope that by writing a full report we will help the hearing community to understand more about this.
