Die Hard Legacy Collection

1979: Roderick Thorpe publishes the sequel to his 1966 novel The Detective. Joe leland, a retired cop is on his way to LA to see his daughter at a Christmas party hosted by her boss at the Klaxon Oil Corporation's HQ. Whilst there a group of terrorists take control of the building, leaving Leland with no choice but to take them on, one by one to save his daughter and the other hostages.
This book was the inspiration for John McTiernan's 1988 Die Hard, regarded as one of the best action-thrillers ever made, to date (2015) the movie has spawned 4 sequels all starring Bruce Willis as NYPD Detective John McClane a guy destined to be "in the wrong place at the wrong time".
This 2013 Blu-ray release collects all five movies, including an uncut version of Die Hard with a Vengeance and a multitude of bonus features, although, sadly, still no hi-def release for the extended edition of Die Hard 4.0.
