The Crossing Guard

The Crossing Guard is the harrowing story of an immoral jeweler, Freddy Gale (Jack Nicholson) whose daughter was killed in a hit and run accident by a drunk driver. The drunk driver, John Booth (David Morse) is sentenced to six years in prison and upon his release is stalked by Gale. Finally, Gale approaches Booth and tells him that because of the murder of his daughter, he will kill him in a week’s time. Booth and Gale spend the week in different ways, with Booth making peace within his existence and Gale desperately obsessing about Booth. By the end of the week, tensions begin running even high and the two are destined to meet one last time.
