Supernatural: Season 6

Sam is mysteriously released from Hell and seeks out his brother who is trying to have a normal life. Together the brothers must join forces with their maternal grandfather, Samuel, and begin the fight anew.

When four families are killed and their babies are missing, Sam finds that a security company may be involved in the case and summons Dean to help him to bring the baby of a fifth slaughtered family to Samuel. However they are chased by a powerful shape shifter that wants the baby and they discover that the baby is a new breed.

When three policemen are struck down by the plagues of Moses, the brothers investigate, calling upon Castiel. He reluctantly appears,explaining that the murders are caused by the Staff of Moses and that there's a civil war in Heaven.

After Bobby discovers Crowley has no intentions of returning his soul, the hunter takes matters into his own hands.

When a vampire links the disappearance of a number of girls, Sam and Dean track down the bloodsucker who sinks his teeth into one of the brothers.

When several people kill themselves after asking for the truth, Sam and Dean investigate and realise that Veritas, an ancient goddess of truth, has been summoned. Her victims die when they hear more truth than they can stand.

Dean becomes suspicious of Samuel's motives, but Sam isn't sold on the idea that their grandfather is doing anything wrong. The brothers go along on a hunt with Samuel and the other Campbells, but things go terribly awry.

Crowley forces Dean and Sam to bring him an alpha monster. They go after a skinwalker, who plans to infiltrate his people into homes disguised as dogs and then have them all bite and transform their owners, creating a growing army.

The brothers investigate a series of abductions attributed to aliens. However, when Dean disappears and then reappears, they realise that the culprits are fairies and that only someone taken to the fairy realm can see them.

Dean and Sam are captured by Meg who wants to know Crowley's hideout. Sam proposes to show where Crowley is provided she gets his soul back. The Winchester brothers ask the reluctant Samuel who has made a deal with Crowley to have his daughter Mary back but he finally points out the spot. Dean and Sam break into an old prison with Castiel, Meg and two other demons to seek out Crowley, but they are betrayed by Samuel. Castiel escapes, but Sam and Dean are arrested and Meg is tortured by Christian. Will that be the end of the quest of the Winchester brothers for Sam's soul?

Dean decides to bargain with Death to get Sam's soul back, and has to accept a wager. Meanwhile, Sam refuses to take the risk of getting his damaged soul back, and prepares to cast a spell to prevent Dean's efforts.

Sam emerges from his coma and discovers that he remembers nothing since losing his soul. Dean and Bobby try to keep the secret, and the brothers head to Oregon to investigate the disappearance of several local female virgins.

Sam has flashbacks of a case he worked with Samuel; Sam and Dean follow the coordinates received in a text message to a small town, where Sam used to live; townspeople's comments surprise Dean.

When Ben calls Dean and tells him that Lisa is in trouble, Dean leaves Sam to investigate a case alone and rushes to the rescue. However, he's not prepared for what meets him at the door.

To protect Sam and Dean from a surprise attack from Raphael, Balthazar sends them both into an alternate universe where their lives are a TV show called Supernatural (2005).

When Sam, Dean and Bobby run into Rufus, and the Campbells all hunting the cause of an upsurge in supernatural activity, tensions erupt into violence.

The timeline is changed after Balthazar stops the Titanic from sinking.

Castiel sends Sam and Dean back in time to 1861 to collect the ashes of a phoenix.

Dean, Sam, Castiel and Bobby find Eve in a small town where the citizens have been converted to demons; Eve decides to torture Sam and Dean by bringing their mother back as a demon.

Castiel tells his story in his own words and confesses to some interesting choices.

Dean's worst nightmare comes true when a demon kidnaps Ben and Lisa in order to get to him. The brothers are forced to join forces with an unlikely ally to free them.

The wall comes down in Sam's head and all hell breaks loose. Dean and Bobby are, for once, at a total loss on how to help him and are forced to stand by and do nothing while Sam breaks. The battle for heaven comes to a head.
