Da Ali G Show
This outrageous comedy/reality series stars British chameleon Sacha Baron Cohen, who travels across America in the guise of one of three totally different characters. Cohen's primary alter-ego is Ali G., who calls himself a "hip-hop journalist", but who's really a white rapper-wannabe. When Cohen isn't putting Ali G and his "guests" in unusual and often delightfully uncomfortable situations, he's shedding his yellow gangsta track suit attire and slipping into two other memorable characters: Borat, an impossibly naive TV reporter from Kazakhstan, and Bruno, a gay Austrian fashionista.
Ali G vows to protect and serve--or at least crack somebody up--as a police recruit. Borat explores the do's and don'ts of dating in the U.S. Bruno gets the inside story on New York's Fashion Week. Ali G interviews Dick Thornberg.
Ali G tours the United Nations and interviews former Secretary General Boutros Boutros-Ghali. Later, he conducts a roundtable discussion with religious experts and talks to General Brent Scowcroft. Meanwhile, Borat is given a lesson on etiquette.
Ali G talks with Steve Forbes and Newt Gingrich. Borat visits a gun club and a gym. Bruno attends a fashion show.
Ali G presents his guide to art and interviews James Lipton of 'Inside the Actors Studio.' Ali G also conducts a studio discussion on the media and interviews astronaut Buzz Aldrin. Bruno delivers a guide to L.A. fashion.
Ali G conducts a roundtable discussion on science and interviews Ralph Nader and C. Everett Koop. Borat visits a minor-league baseball team and a Nevada test site...and also protests nuclear testing.
Ali G pitches ideas for TV shows to Hollywood executives, attends a political rally, conducts a studio discussion on sex and interviews Marlin Fitzwater. Borat presents his guide to the South. Bruno attends a football game in Alabama.
