MacGyver
MacGyver follows the adventures of the laid-back, extremely resourceful secret agent Angus MacGyver. He prefers non-violent conflict resolution whenever possible and refuses to carry or use a gun. MacGyver works as a problem solver for the Phoenix Foundation in Los Angeles. Utilizing his education as a scientist and his experience as an operative in the Department of External Services (DXS), he is able to solve a range of problems usually with the help of his ever-present Swiss Army knife.
Penny Parker asks MacGyver to accompany her in inspecting an old house that she inherited from her aunt, an apparently haunted house.
MacGyver returns to his hometown to find himself haunted by the memories of a fatal shooting accident when he was a kid. While he is there, he helps two teenagers battle the local drug dealers.
In the middle of nowhere, MacGyver gets involved in a car accident. He is luckily found by an Amish family and nursed back to health. MacGyver then helps the Amish community to confront a construction crew that is trying to force them off their land.
Pete is taken prisoner during a coup d'état by the rebels in Barraca. MacGyver must enlist Jack to help rescue Pete.
MacGyver is chosen to test a car engine designed by the Foundation, but a rival car owner 'G. Gordon Liddy' has some dirty tricks up his sleeve.
MacGyver and Thornton discover the wreckage of a DEA plane, which MacGyver determines was shot down by drug smugglers.
An escaped killer who MacGyver is searching for, is actually the pawn of a mastermind criminal who is still locked up and planning revenge on the female detective who incarcerated him.
Once Jack Dalton finds his long-lost mother, he discovers that she is a fugitive. The police, a bounty hunter, and a corrupt government official are all determined to catch her first.
MacGyver's friend Penny Parker gets the lead part in a new musical. MacGyver suspects it may be a set up by his arch-nemesis to trap him.
Pete is conflicted when he discovers that the Phoenix Foundation employee selling classified information turns out to be his son.
The young son of MacGyver's co-worker is kidnapped by the boy's father and taken to Canada. MacGyver must go and retrieve the boy from the house of the boy's uncle, a powerful mob boss.
Ray, an ex-gang member, gets into some trouble with the police and a local shop owner. With the help of MacGyver, he unravels a racist community in the neighborhood surrounding the challenger's club.
A teenage prostitute is trying to leave her pimp and return to her family. As MacGyver helps her to do this, it is revealed that she is also being abused by her father who blames her for the death of his wife.
A downed World War II plane in the Arctic is suspected of containing lots of gold. A joint US-Russian team goes to retrieve the gold but it turns up missing, MacGyver thinks that a US soldier is the man responsible for the crash.
MacGyver takes a group of Phoenix Foundation employees for a recreational trip into the wilderness but learns that someone of the group might be an escaped criminal.
An awards ceremony given by an African nation for help received from MacGyver and Jack, is the setting of an assassination plot of that nation's leader with Jack as the unwitting assassin.
MacGyver and Pete Thornton are caught as hostages by a terrorist group that intends to hit a city with an Electro Magnetic Pulse weapon, which would cripple the entire city.
MacGyver must stop an ex-Navy SEAL, who once saved his life, from using a stolen vial of anthrax.
MacGyver, Jack and Pete go to relax on a gold-panning expedition. Unfortunately, a woman from MacGyver's past stalks them and has murderous intentions in her plan of revenge.
