This fourth Disciple short-term study focuses on Romans. But it is not simply another look at Romans; it is in several ways a different look at Romans. For example: Romans is more about communal salvation than individual salvation. The language and message of Romans are centered on God. Paul speaks as a Jew, a Jew who believes in Jesus to be sure, but a Jew nevertheless. Paul addresses his message to Gentiles-Gentiles in Rome who have already heard the gospel preached by other missionaries. Overall, Romans is a rich resource for envisioning living a faithful life in an age of religious pluralism.
