The Way of the Child focuses on the spiritual formation of children. This new resource in the growing Companions in Christ family helps children learn and experience spiritual practices that will lead them into a deeper awareness of God's presence in their lives. The Leader's Guide includes 5 chapters on the spiritual nature of children and faith as well as 39 sessions for use with groups of children. The Way of the Child product line also includes a Resource Booklet of reproducible art for the reflection stations, Family Booklet for use in homes, a music CD, and an Interpretive DVD. Designed for children ages 6-11, there are enough sessions to use from September through May in Sunday school for weekday or week-night settings or can be used in short-term programs such as VBS, day camp, and other gatherings of children throughout the year.
