Plot

Though many threatened and endangered plants and animals are protected by strict laws to keep them from going extinct, criminals called poachers will do whatever it takes to get their hands on these rare species.Readers (Grades 3-5) will discover why poaching is so profitable and what methods these criminals use to hunt everything from elephants and tigers to plants and insects. They will also find out how governments and conservation organizations are working to fight poaching and protect the natural world.
