R. C. Balfour III graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Georgia, and worked in business for 45 years. He served the Diocese of Georgia as chairman of the Stewardship and Evangelism Commission, and was later elected deputy to the General Convention of the Episcopal Church. In Fishing for the Abundant Life the author reveals his two passions: fishing and his Christian faith. He uses the dramatic episodes in his life to describe his eventual coming to Christ.
