The Fussy Angel

Plot

Everyone knows that God works in strange and mysterious ways. Is it so surprising that He should choose such a little angel to help smooth the way for His Son at His birth? The reader follows the plight of the little angel who means well, but just can't understand how God or anyone could think of allowing such a setting for Christ's birth. In the end the angel comes to realize that it is "just as he [Jesus] wants it to be. Smelly animals, prickly straw, silly gifts and loud music. It's human and it pleases him."
