Plot

Based on the stories by Lucy Maude Montgomery, the Story Girl series tells the ongoing story of Sara Stanley, a young girl who earns the name of the Story Girl. The Story Girl keeps her cousins and friends spellbound with her tales, and a strong Christian message is woven throughout. In Midnight Madness and Mayhem, Sara has moved in with the King cousins following the marriage of Aunt Olivia. She and the rest of the children soon learn how to deal with people in the neighborhood who tend to be rather unfriendly, and the Story Girl discovers the secret between Miss Reade and the Awkward Man.
