It's not very often than an entire film can be summed up in a single visual pun. That's the capper to a singularly fascinating stroll through the life of newly retired train engineer Odd Horten (Bård Owe), who finds himself going off the rails as soon as he leaves the tracks. Norway's Bent Hamer writes and directs with the wry sense of humour he brings to all of his finely tuned constructions.
