Superman is now a captive of the Insect Queen. Under the influence of tiny insects that have penetrated his brain, he's unable to muster the will to fight her, even as her bond with him shows him the horrors she plans to wreak on the Earth, transforming it into the new capital of her Empire as she spreads across the galaxy. But Lana Lang has escaped.
