Following the 'death' of Mon-El, Metropolis once again has to deal with having lost a protector. And with the destruction of the city's sewer system, the Guardian and the Science Police are working overtime to fight back a large crime wave. But in the depths of General Sam Lane's mysterious Project 7734, another meta-human is being prepared. Mon-El is in Sam Lane's grip, and if Lane has his way, he'll have the Daxamite under his control.
