Due to a plane crash, Steve and Diana accidentally discover a lost Crusader outpost, called Anglonia, in an uncharted mountain range near Palestine. There they defeat a plot by the usurper Black Robert, against the legitimate ruler Hubert, who looks exactly like Steve. But Hubert doesn't want to be a monarch, and he turns the tiny nation into a democracy.
