Wonder Woman, Vol. 2

After Ares defeat last issue, the gods of Olympus celebrate while Princess Diana fights for her life on Paradise Island due to the injuries after her battle with the god of war. Zeus, impressed that Diana was able to defeat Ares, commands Poseidon to heal Diana. Diana wants to return to the world of man to teach man about peace and to check on the friends she made, although her mother does not want her to go and asks for a sign from the gods. Hermes gives such a sign in the form of a gift, his sandals that will allow Diana to travel through the mystical barrier that protects Paradise Island, into the world of man. Diana meets with Myndi Mayer, a publicist, who will help her get her message of peace to the world. Meanwhile, Barbara Mynervia (Cheetah), plots to obtain Wonder Woman's magic lasso.
