A terrified Betty Brant cries out to Peter for help - "call Spider-Man, you always know where to find him!" Spider-Man comes quickly to the address she gives him and discovers a booby trapped out, and a terrified Betty! And after one of the traps sprays him, Spider-Man feels fear surging up inside him! This can only be the work of Mr. Fear, who wants both of his victims to destroy what they most fear, and in each case it is the other one!
