An entire city block is captured and drawn underground. When the Fantastic Four step out to investigate, Sue stays behind, bothered by something she read in the newspaper. The other three return to an empty home; not only did Sue go to the police about the matter in the paper, she was then captured by the Mole Man, along with a second city block. Can the F.F. manage to save the city from the Mole Man? Can they prevent the Avengers from stepping in and setting the Mole Man's vengeance against Sue?
