The Q-Bomb has rendered the Fantastic Four powerless. To make matters worse, a magician undoes the hypnosis on Doctor Doom, who now realizes the Fantastic Four survive. He immediately heads to gain his revenge, and takes over the Baxter Building. Reed summons their lawyer, Matt Murdock, to prepare the appropriate paperwork in case they don't survive. Matt realizes that something is wrong, and changes to his Daredevil guise to help the four defend themselves against Doom's attacks.
