Frustrated with Mole Man's booby traps, and unable to bring him to the police and charge him with an actual crime, the Thing stalks off from the rest of the team to blow off steam. He encounters the Skrull Slaver, who uses Reed Richards' appearance to trick the Thing into getting captured. The rest of the team realize that Ben is missing, but don't yet realize why.
