Following right on the heels of Natu's murder, a power ring arrives for Prince Ragnar of Betrassus fulfilling his life's dream. As he meets Guy Gardner on Oa, it's revealed that his dream has turned to madness. Natu is still very much alive, and has proof that Prince Ragnar killed everyone who would make a better candidate for a Power Ring than himself, including his own brother. He then proceeded to murder one of his sector's Lanterns, desperate to gain a ring and join the Corps. But his royal blood prevents the Green Lantern Corps from punishing him for his heinous act, and he's to be returned to Betrassus to be punished.
