Professor X leaves the group, assigning Cyclops as leader. Shortly afterwards, Magneto finds the Blob and releases the mental block that prevented him from remembering his earlier encounter with the X-Men. He soon joins Magneto's group, leaving the X-Men to face a dangerous combination of foes without the Professor's help.
