Two mutants dressed as X-Men rob a bank, but they are not the X-Men we know. In fact, Lucifer arranged a meeting between Unus and the Blob, who decided to start a crime wave claiming to be X-Men to discredit them, and draw them out for a final confrontation. It doesn't take long for the X-Men to realize this, and track them down, but they will have to do so without the help of Professor X.
