Sykes and Givens also note the funds buying some of the largest movements of electronic equipment are tied to offshore subsidiaries of Wakandacorp, which may link to the Vibranium mesh suit Night Thrasher uses. The team practices to try to find their sea legs when it comes to using their new power-granting equipment. Night Thrasher no sooner says they are not nearly far enough along than the New Zodiac shows up in Manhattan, kicking a mud puddle in the backside of the Initiative on their way in. Meanwhile, Sofia is ready to return to her life of waiting tables at the diner until the Zodiac bring the fight to the street right in front! She walks out into the chaos to watch the New Warriors turn the battle in their favor. Favor is fleeting, though when Longstrike falls prey to the fatal powers of Cancer.
