Nova has had his memory reprogrammed to join with Condor, Diamondhead and Powerhouse. He not only works with them, he takes over the gang, and leads them in their plot to protect themselves from the Sphinx. They head to Nova's spacecraft, where they still are when Nova's memory naturally returns.
