The Silver Surfer tries to escape the surreal world of the soul gem, while Shalla-Bal tried to contact Mantis through her plants. The Surfer manages to escape, stealing the soul gem that kept the Kree Supreme Intelligence sane. However, Shalla-Bal's message reaches not Mantis, but rather the Gardener instead.
