Captured by Reptyl, the power of the Silver Surfer and Nova is being used to power Reptyl's ships. The Cotati influence Clumsy Foulup to release Nova, who attacks the other ship until it releases the Silver Surfer. Reptyl and his pirate band escape during this distraction, but Reptyl sees his ally the Contemplator as a threat, and eats out his throat.
