The Elder of the Universe known as the Collector recruits the Silver Surfer to retrieve a child who escaped from his collection. Complicating matters, the child is infected with a deadly disease that could wipe out the universe if it isn't retrieved and stored properly. But the Surfer isn't the only agent dispatched to find the virus.
