The Ultimates and the Ultimate X-Men face off in the final confrontation in all of this. In the process, the leads designed to track Magneto home are dropped, and the Brotherhood avoids capture. The X-Men aren't quite that lucky, with one of their number getting captured by the government, and the rest going underground to regroup. At this point, Magneto's true plans and machinations are revealed.
