Summoned to the sanctuary not by the League but by Dr Light, Snapper Carr is instructed by the villain to document what he claims is the last case of the League. He claims to have bested the League, sending them off to worlds where they are helpless; unknown to him, however, before their arrival Batman and Superman swapped costumes, leading them to be sent to worlds which hold no threat to them. One by one the other League members are rescued and return to Earth where they find Dr. Light has constructed duplicates of himself. The duplicates are defeated, along with the genuine Light, and the League restored.
