Justice League of America, Vol. 1

While some members of the League attempt to solve problems on three planets, a giant robotic spaceman arrives on Earth and begins doing good deeds. Superman discovers that the robot is being controlled by a being who was having the spaceman absorb "disaster radiation" from the calamaties it prevented; when it had enough, the controller would absorb it and become invincible. Superman battles the creature and hurls it into space. The giant spaceman is placed in the League's trophy room.
