The Chief wants to assign a juicy story about a breaking dam to Clark Kent, but Lois wants it. She catches up with Clark first and sends him on a wild goose chase of a story, while she goes after the dam. Realizing he's been duped, Clark becomes Superman and easily outraces the train to get the story first. Once there, he's even forced to save Lois' life, after she drove a taxi toward the dam to get a better story.
