Action Comics, Vol. 1

A rare plague which turns its victims purple is spreading like wildfire. A scientist tips Clark off to a similar plague in the past, but when they try to research it, they find an older gentleman has been reading that book frequently as of late. The older gentleman is the Ultra-Humanite, and it's up to Superman to make sure the scientist seeking a cure reaches his goal before Ultra finishes the job.
