Bruce Wayne is meeting with his friend Jim Daly, and the two debate about whether or not Gotham City really has a heart. As Batman, Bruce soon meets a struggling actress who attempts suicide. After saving her life, he learns that she has grossly exaggerated her success to her parents, so he soon works through the entire city to have everyone keep up the pretense of her success while her parents are in town to visit.
