"The Commune of Defiance": When Batman follows a would-be thief into the Gotham slum known as Barclayville, Batman gets a dose of reality from a part of town which he seldom fights crime in. Learning that the area is protected by a group of teens known as the Young Aquarians, Batman is given an education on the local goings on between the two biggest criminals in the area.
The situation is tensed with the ruling from Gotham City council that Barclayville is to be torn down as part of urban renewal. However, Batman with the help of the Young Aquarians and the Teen Titans bust the criminal element in the area and clean up and repair the existing Barclayville before City Hall can come by with its demolishers. Batman and the Titans then stop the local criminals from destroying the place and finally convince the city to keep Barclayville as it is, showing that with some work and attention it can be a beautiful place.
"The Robot-Maker Must Die": Robotman is still on the run, driven by a faulty connection between his too-human brain and his robotic electronic system to want to kill the man who created him -- The Chief. A TV news report alerts him to the Chief's whereabouts, and, after running from the police and practically disassembling himself in the process, he finally makes it to the Chief's office.
Doom Patrol Meeting
The members of the future Doom Patrol meet for the very first time.
Entering a darkened room, he attacks what turns out to be Larry Trainor. He's stopped by Rita and the Chief, who convince him to join his fellow freaks in the Doom Patrol.
