A man named Turner , once a mercenary, hires the Heroes to protect him from Eschat, his former ally. Turner hands them the names of the last three survivors - Schiro, Davis and Powell. One of them is secretly Eschat. Turner dies in a sabotaged elevator. Cage busts Schiro's auto theft ring but too late to save the man from a killer. Davis takes a dive from a building. And Powell (and maybe Heroes for Hire) dies in a blast! Now that no one can identify Eschat he is free to begin his assassin's career with his first target - District Attorney Blake Tower! But if all of the mercenaries are dead... who is Colonel Eschat?
