Wasp and Captain Marvel race to escape a crumbling timeline after Immortus has used the Heart of Forever to remove it. Captain America and Giant-Man help to decide the future of the Earth, a decision which may have been manipulated by events caused by Immortus. Yellowjacket, Hawkeye and Songbird take a Space Phantom prisoner, and manage to steal a Time-Sphere from Kang, escaping back to the safety of the Sphinx. The Avengers resolve that with as little knowledge as they have, their best choice is to take the fight to Immortus' stronghold in the heart of Limbo.
