The Time-tossed Avengers awaken to find themselves in the far flung future, facing Jonz Rickard and his Avengers Battalion. Immortus has done something to them, causing them not to appear as themselves, but as the Guardians of the Galaxy. After a fierce battle, Rickard himself captures them, using the Destiny Force... the inherent potential of all mankind. After the Avengers are imprisoned, Yellowjacket appears and leads them to Immortus and the Timekeepers. Humanity is too great a threat to the time stream, say the Timekeepers. Human race is on trial, and it's only advocates are the Avengers, and unlikely as it may seem, their enemy Immortus.
