Daredevil recovers consciousness inside a burning cabin, where the Gladiator and Death-Stalker have been keeping Candace Nelson. He manages to escape with Richard Rory while the Man-Thing captures the Gladiator, but the Death-Stalker escapes with his captive. Thankfully, he picks up a lead from the least likely place.
