NASA and the ESA have been losing data to thefts that have been traced down to Peter Lohan, employee of Datalink. When caught, he murders his boss and regroups with his co-conspirators to capture or disable all shuttles, ensuring that they are the only ones in orbit working on the satellites. However, when counting space-faring vehicles, they forgot to count the collection owned by one of Nick Fury's oldest friends.
