Weeks before the outbreak of World War III, Martian Manhunter attempts to bring Black Adam to justice himself. Underestimating Adam's mental power and indomitable will, J'onn is overwhelmed, rocketing into the vacuum of sense to try to process everything he's absorbed. At the outbreak of World War III, the world is in turmoil. Numerous countries have been the victim of Adam's wrath, and those who haven't yet been attacked are scrambling to prepare themselves in the event that his baleful eye turns to them. When the US military attempts to stop Black Adam, he hurls an aircraft carrier into the air, towards Gotham City. In a world without Batman, Superman or Wonder Woman, can anybody stop this disaster?
