Johnny's band has a gig on the Tonight Show, but before he can make it, he's attacked by Lightwave, Cindy, and others who capture him and tie him up next to Dr. Doom. Meanwhile, Alyssa Moy tells Sue that the plans for Nu-Earth are not nearly as noble as she was led to believe. Reed Richards is working on that problem, as well as tracking the Doom kidnapping, when Mrs. Deneuve comes to tell him something about Johnny.
